Elizabeth Ramones May

Elizabeth “Iday” R. May was born May 13th, 1956 to Fernando and Conchita Carpio in Manila, the Philippines. She passed away on October 24th, 2012, at the age of 56, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Moving to the United States in 1990, Beth spent most of her years living in Jacksonville, Florida, but was able to travel to many cities as her husband served in the military. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and giving gifts to loved ones. Beth valued her religion deeply and put God as her leader in all things.

She will be remembered by friends as a good natured, compassionate, and humorous woman who loved to cook and always had a smile to share. To her loved ones, she will be remembered as a loving mother and devoted wife who valued her children and family above all else. Beth always gave selflessly to those in her life.

Iday was preceded in death by her father, Fernando; and two brothers: Rubin & Ruel. She is survived by her husband, Barry May; children: Angela Mercurio, Michelle Tuazon, Carol Carpio, Khid Ramones, and Jennifer May; and her grandchildren: Monik & Makayla Mercurio, Camille & Charmaine Frisby, Justin Tuazon, Carlo, Carmela, Charles, & Christian Carpio; and beloved dog, Girlie.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, November 1st, 2012 at New Life Christian Fellowship, 2701 Hodges Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32224. (904) 223-6000
