Claude F. Brown

Claude Franklin Brown, Sr, 79, passed away October 15, 2012. Born to Frank and Maude Brown on September 1, 1933. He graduated from White Springs High School in 1952. After serving in the Navy, he attended Gupton-Jones Mortuary College in Dallas, Texas, where he graduated in December 1959. He was a retired Funeral Director. He was also a member of the American Legion #129 and the VFW #3270. He is survived by two sons: Claude Brown, Jr, Jacksonville, FL and Gregory Brown, Orlando, FL and two daughters: Wanda Brown and Diane Schweinfurth, both of Jacksonville, FL and their mother, Vera Gragg Brown, Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by seven grandchildren: Jay, Eryn, Nathaniel, Christine, Alexander, Glenn and Kory. And two great-grandchildren: Karl and Sophie.

Graveside service will be Friday, October 26, 2012 at 2:30PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
