Patricia L. Goossen

Patricia Lowry Goossen, passed away September 28, 2012. She was born on April 3, 1939 in Mattoon, IL. Moving to Gainesville, FL as a teenager and later to Jacksonville, FL as an adult where she would have a long and successful career in Property Management that would span the state of Florida.
Predeceased in death by both of her parents, Lepton and Nina Lowry, and her son, Scott Lepton Walling, she leaves behind her loving husband, Preston Goossen, son Mark Walling (Sonya),daughters Debbie Field and Ericka Coburn, Daughter-In-Law Bethany Walling Greenley, Brothers Steve Lowry and Jim Lowry (Anita), Sister Barbara Pulliam (Berle), Grandchildren Kelly Walling, Scott Walling, Brooke Field, Bridget Field, Jessica McCurdy, Jarrod Coburn, and Jenna Coburn, Lifelong friend Anne Boggs, along with many nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends.
Patty was a loving person with an infectious sense of humor that truly loved being around people. After her retirement from Property Management in 2000, she spent much of her free time helping with children’s Birthday Parties, Summer Camps, and Pumpkin Patches at Hidden Fields Private Stable where she was commonly referred to as Nana by all of the children. She adored being around the children and helping them in any way that she could.
A Memorial Service will be held to honor her life on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 4:00. Service will be held at Riverside Park United Methodist Church, 819 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL. There will be a reception immediately following at the home of her daughter, Debbie Field, at 2259 Forest Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32246.
