Constance Louise (Chrimes) Lisowe died peacefully Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the age of 65. She had just retired after teaching kindergarten for Duval County Public Schools for more than 25 years. She grew up in Janesville, WI and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Connie was happily married to Gary Lester Lisowe until his death in 1999. Connie was a true light to those with whom she came in contact. She found the beauty in everything and inspired greatness in those she touched. She was a member of the Deercreek Tennis Team and The Mountain Foothills Rotary Club of Evergreen, CO.
Connie is survived not only by her loving son Chad; beloved sister Kay; brother-in-law Dave and their two children Robert and Nathaniel Brewick; her nephew Greg Chrimes and his wife Megan and children Tanner and Lillian; and her aunt and uncle Dorothy & Keith Simmons; but also by her extended family: Sandra & Robert Sturm, Jeff Lisowe, Marie & Jeff, Rachel Shilt, Laura & Andy Hietpas, Mike & Joan, Emily, and Kimberly Sturm, and countless dear friends she met in every place she went, especially in Janesville, WI, Jacksonville, FL, and Evergreen, CO.
Special thanks to Father Michael Larkin of Prince of Peace Catholic Church who will be presiding over a Memorial Mass to be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
A Memorial Mass will also be held in Janesville, Wisconson at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 409 East Court Street (608) 754-3402.
