Phyllis Charlotte Schuerman

Phyllis Charlotte Schuerman, age 72, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Coco Solo, Panama Canal Zone on January 4, 1940 to the late Harold Irwin Hanna and Dorothey Fowks Hanna.

She retired from The State of Florida’s Department of Children and Families in January of 2000. She loved bowling, gardening and bird watching. A member of Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church, she will be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Sandra Shellman (Robin) Harper and Melissa Diane Losco; one brother, Paul (Christine) Hanna, 5 grandchildren: Amber Losco, Meghan Shellman, Mark Losco, Zachary Losco, Ethan Losco; and 1 great grandson, Isaiah Florentino Rivera.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church officiated by Pastor William C. Crook. A Reception will be held immediately following the services.
