Don K. Steiner

Don Kenneth Steiner, a devoted husband and father went to be with the Lord after losing his battle with cancer on August 30, 2012. He was 60 years old.
He loved to be with his family and served others by teaching Sunday school at Wesconnett United Methodist church, martial arts with Duval County Community Schools, coached baseball at Westside Athletic Association and soccer at Westside Soccer Club. Don was an administrator for the Bureau of Radiation Control for the Florida Department of Health for 34 years.
Throughout his battle he was an inspiration to others and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Joyce Steiner, his son Jon Steiner, daughter and husband Lisa and Tom Johnson, his mother Nadine Steiner, his brother Dale Steiner and sister Donna York. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Steiner.
A memorial service will be held September 5, at Wesconnett United Methodist Church at 4:00pm.
