Dorothea H. Tillis

Dorothea H. Tillis, 82, of Jacksonville, FL passed away June 11, 2012. Born to Otto and Susan Marie Hentze in Kassel, Germany. She was a passionate cook and gardener and will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother and wife. Mrs. Tillis was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lamar Tillis. Survivors include her beloved children, Wesley Tillis and Linda (Michael) Marees; grandchildren: Donald, John, Heather, and Jennifer; and sisters, Lisa Myers and Annamarie Santolari. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the building fund at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox (904) 396-5383.
