William "Bill" K. Frost

William K. Bill Frost went to be with the Lord he loved so much on May 1, 2012 after a brief illness. Born on June 18, 1951 in Montclair, N.J. After graduating from Montclair High School Bill moved to San Diego, CA to be with older brother Sandy . Bill came to Jacksonville to care for his ailing parents. It was here in Jacksonville that Bill rededicated his life to Jesus Christ, and began attending Fort Caroline Baptist Church with his father, George A. Frost, Sr. Bill gave his Christian love and care to his parents until their passing. As sick as Bill was he continued witnessing for Jesus Christ and wins souls, especially at the Salvation Army. He was always willing to talk to people about redemption and salvation through the blood shed by Christ on the cross as the means of spending eternal life in Heaven. Bill was active in his Sunday School class (Life Group), Revival Prayer Partners, and the Prayer Warrior Team, all at Fort Caroline Baptist Church. Bill was preceded in death by his parents: Dorothy and George, brothers George Jr. Sandy , and Peter. He is survived by an aunt, Carol Hanau of Madison, CT; an uncle, William Breen of Somers, NY; numerous cousins; good friends, Jesse Batz of Jacksonville, and Mike Raiter of Miami. Also surviving are his Prayer Warrior Team: Tom, Doc, Harry, Tim, John, Scott, Delores and Zella, who will miss him on Wednesday nights. Bill was cremated and his remains will be interred alongside his grandparents in Gail s Ferry, CT. There will be a Memorial Service celebrating Bill s life on Tuesday, May 29th at noon at Fort Caroline Baptist Church, 11428 McCormick Rd. Jacksonville.
