Helen S. Montague

Montague, Helen S., passed away on December 17, 2011 at the Earl Hadlow Hospice Center. She was the last surviving child of five born to the late Opha and John Stephens. Mrs. Montague is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, George P. Montague, Jr. and is survived by daughter, Diane Dyal of Atlantic Beach, FL; son, Donald Montague of Nashville, TN; nephews and a niece.

A graduate of Landon High School, Mrs. Montague enjoyed a long career in the insurance industry where she was past president of the Insurance Women of Jacksonville and the American Business Women Association. Later in life, she filled her days with volunteer work, travel and her beloved arts and crafts.

A celebration of her life will be held on January 14th at 2:00 PM at the clubhouse of Vista Del Mar Condominiums, 2301 Coste Verde Blvd, Jacksonville Beach FL. Donations in her memory can be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society, or to your favorite charity.
