Betty J. Brooke 1926 - 2011

Betty Brooke passed away at Hospice, following a brief illness on 10/9/11 with her family at her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Brooke, her parents Alvin and Beth Penwitt, and her brother Evron Penwitt.

She is survived by her daughter Holly Thompson (John), son Kenny Brooke (Julie), grandchildren Steve Weaver (Terri), Diane Salazar (John), Bailey and Ethan Brooke, great-grandchildren Madison, Carrie, Max, Tony, and Jeremy, her sister Gwen Boston, sister-in-law Judy Penwitt, and several nieces and nephews.

She was our Mom and our Mimi. Loved by all and will be missed forever.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Glynlea Grace United Methodist Church, 6429 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32211. Services will be officiated by Pastor David Charlton.
