Nancy Page Pearson

Nancy Page Pearson, 75, of Valdosta, GA., passed away, Saturday, September 10, 2011 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on January 24, 1936 in Nashville, TN to the late Harvey Turner and Kathleen Saxon Page. She was a retired art teacher and loved gardening, volunteering at her grandchildren’s schools, her animals, and VSU sporting events. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Fred Lamar Pearson, Jr. of Valdosta, GA; daughter, Kathy (Edwin) Brunot of Valdosta, GA; daughter, Jennifer (Greg) Halen of Florence, AL; son Sam (Ann) Pearson of Jacksonville, FL; and grandchildren, Ann and Alex Brunot, Sean and Rick Halen, and Seth, Jared and Grace Pearson. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Christ Fellowship Church with Rev. Ken Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
