James "Pops" Cristello

James “Pops” Cristello, 76, of Orange Park, FL passed away June 12, 2011. Born to Dominick and Catherine (Carmelonga) Cristello in Dobbs Ferry, NY, he served in The United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1963. He also served as a volunteer Firefighter and Assistant Chief in Tarrytown and Bloomingburg, NY. He moved to Orange Park in 1981. He attended Pinewood Presbyterian Church and started Reliable Maintenance Service with his son Jim, Jr. He is loved by many and his big smile and fun loving nature will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Dominic, Frank, and Pete; and sisters: Vicky and Terry. He is survived by his wife, Sunny Cristello; children: James Jr. and Jeff “Lump” Cristello, Lynne Wiltsie, and Tiffany Baker; grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Allison Baker, Jenna and Joey Wiltsie, Kenny and Danny Cristello; brothers, Joseph and Robert Cristello in Florida; and sister, Kay in Georgia

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 until 5:00 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the family home.
