Ella Reese Reddington

Ella Reese Pollock Reddington, 84, born August 4, 1926 in Leslie GA, formerly of Whiting, NJ, and Scranton, PA passed away peacefully on Friday June 10, 2011 at Elmcroft Assisted Living facility, Jacksonville, FL, where she had been a resident for the past five years.

She is survived by her sister, Laurie Pollock Jackson; her brother, Curtis Pollock; her children: Sharyn Reddington Council (Robert) of Largo, FL, Susan Reddington of NYC, NY, Sheila Reddington of Atlanta GA, Jim Reddington (Cindy) of Jacksonville, FL; and grandchildren: Steven, Ashley and Christy Reddington of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bessie Pollock and eight of her ten brothers and sisters: John Carl, Ann Elizabeth, Julian, James, Kemper, Jack, Bessie, and Roger. Frank Flynn, her beloved companion of 28 years, also preceded her in death.

Family services will be held at a later date at Elmcroft Assisted Living and also in Leslie, GA.
Ella touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
