John David Hutcherson, 57, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on April 24th at Hospice due to end-stage Cardiomyopathy. "Hutch" was born to John Paul Hutcherson and Patsy Ann Campbell on December 12, 1953 in Hinsdale, IL. He graduated from Romeoville High School in IL where he played all sports and was frequently in the newspaper for his accomplishments. He received a scholarship to play football at Arkansas State University. Later, he joined the Army where he traveled to Germany. He was married to Janice Martin for 16 years and had three beautiful daughters, Amanda Lynette (26), Ashley Marie (24) and Ali Renee (22). He was a member of Mandarin Baptist Church. Hutch was known for his love for hunting, especially deers. He loved fishing, too. He was a great cook, loved to barbeque! He was handy with wood, designed and built bookshelves, etc.
John is survived by his daughter and her husband Amanda and Matt Bethards and their daughters Makayla and Lilianne of New Philadelphia, Ohio; his daughters Ashley and Ali of Rockdale, IL; his mother, Pat Latham of Jacksonville, FL; his step-father, Bill Latham of Jacksonville, FL; his father, John Paul Hutcherson of TN; his sister and her husband, Paula and Dave Rideout of Jacksonville; Dave's sons Ben and Jason; Paula's children Kevin Paddie and his wife Janelle; their daughter Kloe, of Jacksonville, Ann Jordan and her daughters Hanna, Ashlyn and Marissa; John's sister Kim Smith of Jacksonville, FL; her children Erek Smith and his wife Jennifer and Kyle Crump; and his sister and her husband Lisa and Harvey Brookman and their children David, Daniel and Sarah of St. Augustine, FL.
Memorial Service on Saturday April 30, 2pm at Mandarin Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL performed by Rev. Dan Davis.
