Maria A. Czelusniak

Mrs. Czelusniak, 83, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Marie was born June 1, 1927 in Amsterdam, NY, daughter of Anthony and Amanda Lucente. She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Marie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Francis Czelusniak, and two daughters, Elizabeth Huxley and Amanda Vandenabeele, five grandchildren, Chris, Ashley and Jacob Dowser, Michael and Nikki Vandenabeele and three great-grandchildren. Marie was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church, where she was trip coordinator for their senior group for 20 years. She was also a member of St. Gabriel OWLS and St. John Neuman Seniors. She will be greatly missed by all. A mass celebration of Marie's life will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Matthews Catholic Church, Charlotte.
