Navy Alice Brown, 46, resident of Jacksonville, Fla., passed on to glory on March 15, 2011.


Ms. Brown was born April 7, 1964 in Queens, New York. She is the daughter of Mr. Burnell V. Brown (deceased) and Mrs. Navy A. Brown Sr. and is survived by her daughter, Michelle A. Brown.


As an employee of Emory University, Ms. Brown excelled in her position and was known for her captivating smile and generous spirit. She befriended everyone she met and never hesitated to tell someone she loved them. Ms. Brown was happiest in the company of family, friends, good music and fine food. A woman of culture and class, she enjoyed traveling, cooking and home decorating.


Ms. Brown leaves a legacy of kindness, dedication and love. While her life on earth may be over, her mark has been made on many lives.
