Phyllis Ann Robbins was born on November 17, 1946 in Upland, PA. She entered Heaven on February 25, 2011.
Phyllis graduated from Nether Providence High School in 1965 and studied Opera at West Chester State College. She took piano lessons for nine years and taught piano lessons for three years.
She married Dr. Michael Robbins on October 8, 1969 and they resided in Southern Florida from 1973 until 1992. While living in “The Keys” she became an avid scuba diver and collected fish and other marine life for the University of Miami and Bass Pro Shops.
She resided in Tucson, Arizona from 1992 until recently. While living in Arizona they raised Arabian horses.
She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty years, Michael. Survivors include her parents, Frank and Ann Lovelace of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Pat Haig (Mike) of Philadelphia, PA and Donna Campbell (Ted) of Jacksonville; nephews, Robert Koncir (Leah) of Chadds Ford, PA, Carl Haig of Philadelphia, Craig Campbell of Jacksonville; nieces, Dawn Campbell of St. Augustine, FL, Faith Dewees (John) of Havertown, PA, Crissy Campbell of Long Island, NY; great nephews and nieces, J.P. and Michael Dewees of Havertown, Christina and Frankie Koncir of Chadds Ford; her Arabian horses Goldilocks and Sweet William of Tucson, AZ.
A memorial service celebrating her life was held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Westside Baptist Church officiated by Reverend Ray Mayfield.
