Ruth A. Mahoney

Ruth Alverta Mahoney, 89, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away in her home on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Ruth was born on March 20, 1921, in Petersburg, Ohio, was the widow of Paul J. Mahoney, and daughter of the late Claude F. and Mary L. Yauman Ruth is survived by her two children, Claudia J. Perry, wife of Larry N. Perry, both of Jacksonville, and James B. Mahoney, husband of Debra E. Grove-Mahoney, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
She is also survived by two sisters, Grace A. Hacker, widow of Willis A. Hacker of Phoenix, Arizona Beverly A. Beddingfield, wife of Grady M. Beddingfield, of Morristown, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Yauman and Harold Yauman, and a sister, Dorothy Yauman.
Ruth will be missed by her seven grandchildren, Kevin Larson of Jacksonville, and Johnna, Anna, Rina, Noah, Luca, and Cara Mahoney, all of Lancaster, and her three great-granddaughters, Kayla, Katie, and Kendall Larson, all of Jacksonville.
Ruth was a member of Hodges Blvd. Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville.

A celebration of life was held at Hodges Blvd. Presbyterian Church, 4140 Hodges Blvd, Jacksonville, FL, 32224 (904) 223-6922 on Sunday, January 30, 2011. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the church.

A Chapel and Graveside service will be held this summer at Lake Park Cemetery in Struthers, Ohio.
