Curtis T Jones

Curtis T. Jones, 75, passed away on May 29th, 2023 from an unexpected heart attack at his home in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.  He is survived by his sister, Debbie, her husband Dean, his niece, Cheyenne, and her family.

Curtis graduated from the University of Florida in 1969 and was a proud member of the Sigma Chi fraternity.  He was a decorated Vietnam Army veteran and enjoyed a varied career in music promotion and radio sales before owning his own Valpak franchise.

In his free time Curtis enjoyed cycling, reading, watching movies, listening to music, attending Jazz Fest in New Orleans and volunteering with the UF chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity.

Per his request, Curtis has been cremated and his ashes will be given to his best friend, Carl.  A memorial gathering will be scheduled at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to https://sigmachi.org/foundation/?form=BCC&designationId=EPYSDRCL in memory of Curtis T.
